The housebound can, by special
arrangement, have their prescription
requests brought into surgery by the
chemist.
We need a minimum of
48
working hours notice to process
prescription requests. Please note,
requests received on Fridays, will
not be available for collection
until after 2.00pm on Tuesdays.
Prescriptions can be collected
from the Annex on Thursday
afternoons when the main surgery is
closed.
Care at the Chemist We are currently running a scheme
whereby patients with certain minor
ailments can attend their local
participating pharmacy for a
consultation with the chemist who
then provides advice and prescribes
treatment from an approved list of
medication. Patients exempt from NHS
prescription charges do not pay for
any medication prescribed under this
scheme. Ask at reception for further
details. |
